On December 29, 2024, the newly
appointed Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) of Goalanda Upazila, Rajbari
District, Mr. Md. Nahidur Rahman, was warmly welcomed by the Goalanda Upazila
Protibandhi Unnayan Sangstha (GUPUS). The reception was marked by the presentation
of a floral bouquet as a gesture of honor and goodwill.
The event was attended by the
esteemed President of GUPUS, Mr. Md. Ratan Sheikh, the competent General
Secretary, Mr. Md. Munnab Sheikh, the Chief Coordinator and Assistant General
Secretary, and National Award-winning successful person with a disability, Mr.
Md. Raqibul Islam. Other prominent attendees included the Senior Vice
President, Mr. Md. Siddiq Sarder, Treasurer, Mr. Md. Rafiq Sheikh, and other
distinguished leaders of the organization.
During the event, Mr. Md. Nahidur
Rahman expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the members of GUPUS for their warm
reception. He also conveyed his intention to visit the GUPUS office in the near
future and expressed his admiration for the organization's efforts in promoting
the rights and socio-economic development of persons with disabilities in the
upazila.
This reception marks another
milestone in GUPUS's continued commitment to building strong relationships with
government officials to further the cause of inclusivity and empowerment for
persons with disabilities.

গোয়ালন্দ উপজেলার নতুন উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার হিসেবে মোঃ নাহিদুর রহমান কে জিইউপিইউএস এর পক্ষ থেকে অভ্যর্থনা প্রদান গত ২৯-১২-২০২৪ তারিখে রাজবাড়ী জেলার গোয়ালন্দ উপজেলার নবাগত নির্বাহী অফিসার মোঃ নাহিদুর রহমান কে গোয়ালন্দ উপজেলা প্রতিবন্ধী উন্নয়ন সংস্থা (জিইউপিইউএস) এর পক্ষ থেকে ফুল দিয়ে বরণ করা হয়। এই সময় উপস্থিতি ছিলেন জিইউপিইউএস এর সুনামধন্য সভাপতি মোঃ রতন শেখ, দক্ষ সাধারণ সম্পাদক মোঃ মুন্নাব শেখ, প্রধান সমন্বয়কারী ও সহ-সাধারণ সম্পাদক এবং জাতীয় পুরুস্কারপ্রাপ্ত সফল প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তি মোঃ রকিবুল ইসলাম, সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি মোঃ সিদ্দিক সরদার, কোষাদক্ষ মোঃ রফিক শেখসহ সংগঠনের অন্যান্য নেতৃবৃন্দ। এসময় নির্বাহী অফিসার মোঃ নাহিদুর রহমান সংগঠনের সবাইকে ধন্যবাদ জানায় ও জিইউপিইউএস কার্যালয় পরিদর্শনের আশা ব্যক্ত করেন।
